Our experience at Banister Hyundai began on Thursday morning when my wife and myself decided to visit the local Hyundai dealership in an effort to evaluate an offer for our 2017 Hyundai Tucson made by a competitor. We were greeted upon arrival by Aria Bakker who immediately assessed our situation and professionally addressed our concerns related to the purchase of a new 2026 Tucson based upon our observations of the models available. We were skeptical of the high degree of technology prevalent in the “Ultimate” trim level and the practicality of a Hybrid model. She unhesitatingly answered every question we were able to pose to her and we settled on a slightly lower trim line (N-Line) after she made herself available for a test drive. (Both of us had forgotten to bring our drivers licence.)Once the decision was made to move forward with a transaction a more attractive offer for our trade was negotiated with the help of Aria’s sales manager and a deal was finalized.At this point we were expertly guided through the paperwork by Hollee Brown and now find ourselves owners of a new Hyundai Tucson.Thank you Banister Hyundai for providing us with a stress free experience in this purchase.

Brandan provided professional friendly service. No pressure sales and very knowledgeable about their products spending time to explain and demonstrate the features of our new EV. Hollee guided the finance process, warranty details and options with patience and expertise. Overall very happy with the experience with Bannister Hyundai.

March 16th, 2026Another great service experience today at Bannister Hyundai in Chilliwack. I've received such good warranty service here over the last couple of years so thought I would try getting an oil change, inspection and spark plugs changed at this dealership. Dropped my car off, got a ride to work and after an hour or so I received a video from the technician showing me the inspection done on my 2022 Veloster type N. I was impressed with this new service and actually got to see the underside of my car for the first time. Had my washed car back in just over 2 hours. Thanks to Dale and his team for another professional service.March 10, 2025Took my Veloster Type N in for some warranty service recently. Dale J. and his team provided amazing customer service for me! I appreciated being treated like an actual paying customer, lol. Hyundai's warranty is second to none, in my opinion. Dale hooked me up with some coffee while I briefly waited for my complimentary shuttle ride to work. The shuttle driver, Ron, was also very courteous and friendly. I was kept informed on my vehicle progress and when it was done I was picked up from work by Ron again to retrieve my car. Thank you, everyone! 😊10 months agoJust had an amazing service experience on my 2022 Veloster type N at this dealership. Horn stopped working so hit them up for some help. The service advisor, William, definitely went above and beyond for me. Had a shuttle for me within a couple of minutes to drop me off wherever I needed to go, while I waited for my car. I received regular text updates regarding their progress. He also discovered a service bulletin I did not know about and took care of that for me, also. Picked up my car in about an hour and everything was under warranty. For this short service they also washed and vacuumed my car. 😲Thanks William!*NOTE: I have also dealt with Anzah at the service counter numerous times for information, advice and maintenance parts. (filters, injector cleaner etc.) Always a pleasure to deal with him too.

Excellent customer service by Kamrynne, she worked with me to get the tires I wanted and the service department did an excellent job installing them! She answered all questions I had about other inquiries I had about my vehicle and made sure I left with everything answered!

Cannot speak highly enough about the level of customer services received from Dylan, Zach and Hollie. What a pleasant surprise to be treated so well, fully transparent in all costs, clear communication. Dylan has amazing instincts and intuition about how to serve a customer. His patience, understanding and humour were so appreciated as I was overwhelmed by the technology. This was the first dealership I’ve been to where the service manager (Zach) came out and introduced himself and explained the things that would happen behind the scenes to get a good deal. Hollie made sure I had all the warranty information in writing with zero pressure to push me into an instant decision. The Bannisters should be proud of this team!

I was travelling when a trouble light came on and they were able to help me out to replace burnt out headlights. I was very grateful they could fit me in as I had a long travel day. The staff were helpful, courteous and I was on my way again in less time than I would have imagined.

Bannister Hyundai recently purchased a 2018 Kona that I had put up for sale. Aria Bakker was the sales rep who contacted me with a potential offer and I decided to follow up with a visit to the dealership to have them assess the car. They came back with a fair and reasonable offer and Aria was pleasant and professional to deal with. If another Hyundai is in my future I will definitely be a return customer.

Very kind people. They had gotten my husband and I approved for a car when everyone else was turning us away. Even after getting the car it had broke down a couple weeks later and they were still there for us by helping us bring it to the mechanic shop and paying for all the expenses and lending us a car from the dealership to get me to all my midwife appointments and the hospital when I was in labor. Had our vehicle serviced for its first service as it is a new purchase. Service department was excellent and the quote provided for anticipated costs was accurate on the final bill. Typically we have gone away from the dealership (another Hyundai location)to a private mechanic over prices which were extremely high, however this most recent service was competitive and not a surprise as it was discussed with us prior to the service even being completed. The follow up was good from staff but bordered on a little too much for my liking to get a review submitted on job. Overall so far recommend the service department. Will update in the future.

I recently took our 2025 Tucson Hybrid in for its second routine service since purchase. Arranging the appointment over the phone was trouble free and I was able to get an appointment the next day, which was sooner than I had expected.I took advantage of the offer of free shuttle service from the dealership to my home.I like the option of being able to check the status of the service online and I thought the video by the Technician, of the service performed, was unique and interesting.
